We hope this project will be of interest to anyone who is studying their
Appleby, Applebee, Appelbey, Appelbe, Appelbee, Apelbe
family history, wherever they may live in the world today. But to make the project a success, we need YOUR help!

The Project is part of the Appleby One-Name Study, which is registered with the Guild of One-Name Studies, and aims to identify the origins of (and possible connections between) the various known Appleby/Applebee/Appelbe family trees. The first stage of the project is to gather together as many Appleby Family Trees as possible - from all over the world. To do this, we need the help and cooperation of all you Appleby researchers

To discover if any of your Appleby/bee ancestors are already included in the Family Tree charts displayed on this site - please either check the Master Name Index or use the Google search bar below.

Although DNA testing can never replace traditional genealogical research, it is proving a very valuable tool for validating reconstructed family trees and discovering if and how such trees link together, in particular when such links may have existed many generations ago, before written records are available.
